General Online Terms and Conditions of Anthony & Meyer-Abich GmbH

For contracts concluded via the ANTON MEYER online shop, only the General Online Terms and Conditions (GTC) of Anthony & Meyer-Abich GmbH (hereinafter ANTON MEYER) valid at the time of the contract conclusion shall apply. We expressly reserve the right to change the GTC. We hereby object to any deviating regulations. Regulations other than those contained herein shall only become effective with our express written confirmation.

The current version can be viewed under the keyword "GTC". During the ordering process, the customer continuously has the option to view, print, and save the GTC. By completing the order, the customer accepts the GTC.

Verbal collateral agreements must be documented on a permanent data carrier, e.g., email. Changes to the GTC, including this clause, as well as the agreement of delivery dates or periods, also require our written confirmation.

Offers and Contract Conclusion

The language available for concluding the contract is German. The presentation of products in the online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer but an non-binding online catalog. The offers are exclusively aimed at private customers; contracts are only concluded with private customers. Whether an order is accepted is at ANTON MEYER's sole discretion. If an online order cannot be executed by ANTON MEYER, the customer will receive an immediate notification via email. This requires the customer to have correctly provided their email details.

By selecting goods and adding them to the shopping cart, the customer has the option to check the correctness of their orders. After selecting the payment method, the customer can review the details of their online purchase again and correct them if necessary. In this context, the customer is asked to agree to the GTC. Through this process, the customer submits a legally binding offer to conclude a purchase contract. Subsequently, the customer receives an order confirmation via email. ANTON MEYER hereby informs the customer that the order has been transmitted correctly. However, the purchase contract is only concluded with the dispatch of another email confirming the delivery of the goods. With this shipping confirmation, the purchase contract becomes legally effective.

Return Policy

a) Right of Return

If the customer is a consumer, the purchase in the ANTON MEYER online shop is made on approval. The customer has a right of return. The customer can exercise their right of return without stating reasons within the 14-day return period, either by returning the goods via DHL (e.g., simply via the return portal), or, if the goods cannot be sent as a parcel, by exercising the request for return in text form. The return period begins upon receipt of the goods and this instruction. To comply with the return period, timely dispatch of the goods or the return request is sufficient. The purchase contract becomes binding for the customer at the latest after the expiry of the 14-day return period. Returns that exceed the 14-day period and arrive late will not be accepted or – in exceptional cases – only accepted against a voucher out of goodwill. This does not include agreements made with us in advance. The customer bears the costs of returning the goods. The amount of return shipping costs may vary, but within Germany, it amounts to approximately €5.

b) Consequences of Return

The customer bears the costs of returning the goods. The amount of return shipping costs may vary, but within Germany, it amounts to approximately €5. ANTON MEYER provides the customer with a return label for simplified return processing within Germany. This is included with the shipment or can be created, downloaded, and printed here. When using this return label, return shipping costs of €5 will be incurred.

c) Return Shipping

Returns are exclusively made with the shipping service provider through whom the package was delivered (usually DHL). We distinguish between returns from Germany and from abroad:

  • Orders from Germany include a return label in the package for easier processing. If this is not the case, or if the customer no longer has the return label, the return label can also be issued and printed independently via the DHL return portal. Of course, you are also free to drop off the shipment at DHL independently. (See also under b) Consequences of Return)
  • Orders from abroad do not include a return label. The customer is responsible for the return shipment.
  • All documents that may be helpful to the customer during the return shipment are included in the delivered package.

Prices, Payments

The prices stated at the time of the order apply. All prices include statutory VAT. Shipping costs are calculated separately. A cash discount is not possible. All additional costs incurred, such as import sales tax or import duties, are to be borne by the customer. There is no entitlement to a VAT refund for exports from the EU, and this is not offered. All payments and credits are processed in the currency underlying the purchase.

We accept the following payment methods:

  • PayPal
  • Klarna
  • Apple Pay

Credit Card
With this payment method, the amount is reserved on the customer's credit card at the time of the online purchase. The actual debit of the credit card takes place parallel to the creation of the shipping confirmation via email. Any refund claims from the customer will be credited by ANTON MEYER to the customer's credit card account within 14 days.

PayPal
With this payment method, the customer is redirected to the PayPal page after clicking the confirmation. After completing the payment via their PayPal account, the customer is prompted to complete the purchase in the online shop. The customer then receives a confirmation email from the ANTON MEYER online shop and from PayPal. Any refund claims from the customer will be credited to their PayPal account.

Prepayment
For the prepayment option, please transfer the full invoice amount to the account specified in the invoice.

After receipt of payment, the goods will be shipped immediately.

Delivery & Shipping

Within Germany and to the countries enabled in the shop, parcel shipping is carried out by DHL. Unless otherwise agreed, delivery takes place within 1 to 21 working days* to the delivery address specified by the buyer, depending on the choice of shipping method and delivery location. Costs arising from incorrect address information can be passed on to the customer. ANTON MEYER is not liable for possible delays or other customer disadvantages resulting from incorrect address information.

Information on delivery times refers to the estimated delivery time. The delivery time may be extended to a reasonable extent if events occur that significantly hinder delivery and over which ANTON MEYER has no influence.

ANTON MEYER will inform the customer immediately in the event of corresponding delivery difficulties. *In the event of ANTON MEYER withdrawing from the contract, payments already made by the customer will be refunded immediately. Other legal claims of the customer remain unaffected. ANTON MEYER is entitled to make partial deliveries. No shipping costs will be incurred for subsequent deliveries.

  • Shipping within Germany: €5 DHL Standard National, 1-3 working days*
  • Shipping within EU: €8 DHL Standard International, 2-5 working days*
  • Shipping CH & USA: €25 DHL Standard International, 3-10 working days*
  • Further afield (the rest of the world): €50 DHL International World, 3-21 working days*

These costs and times may vary depending on the order value and destination.
All additional costs incurred (such as customs duties, taxes, etc.) are borne by the customer.

Transport Damage

If goods are delivered with obvious damage to the packaging or contents, the customer must immediately complain to the respective delivery service without prejudice to their warranty rights and refuse acceptance. Retention of Title

The goods remain the property of ANTON MEYER until full payment.

Delivery Reservations

In the event that an item cannot be delivered, we are not obliged to fulfill the contract. If delivery is not possible, the customer will be informed immediately and any advance payments made will be refunded immediately. Items are only delivered in household quantities.

Warranty

Statutory warranty rights apply to all deliveries. The limitation period for statutory warranty claims is 2 years and begins with the handover of the goods.

Disclaimer for External Links

Insofar as the pages of the ANTON MEYER online shop contain links to other pages on the internet, it is expressly declared that we have no influence whatsoever on the design and content of the linked pages. This applies to all displayed links and to all content of the pages to which links lead. Therefore, ANTON MEYER hereby expressly dissociates itself from all content of all linked third-party pages and does not adopt this content as its own.

Photos

ANTON MEYER points out that the coloration of the product images presented in the online shop may differ slightly from the color of the delivered item due to the respective settings on the customer's screen.

All illustrations and photos are protected by copyright. Any use of the illustrations and photos without the express consent of ANTON MEYER is not permitted. ANTON MEYER reserves the right to assert all claims under copyright law.

Jurisdiction

For customers who are merchants or who do not have a general place of jurisdiction in Germany, Hamburg is agreed as the place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from contracts concluded with ANTON MEYER.

Severability Clause

Should individual provisions of these GTC be ineffective, the validity of the remaining provisions and of the contract itself shall not be affected thereby. The ineffective provision shall be reinterpreted or, if necessary, amended in such a way that it comes as close as possible to the intended purpose in a permissible manner.
