Why do we primarily offer vests in long sizes? It's simple: so that no shirt peeks out between the bottom of the vest and the waistband of the trousers. Because that simply doesn't look good. Makes sense? We think so too. "But I wear a size 50 – what size should I take then?" That's also simple. To calculate, you double your known ready-to-wear size. So that would be 100. However, since a size 100 does not exist for textile-technical reasons, you take a 98, as the basic formula is ready-to-wear size x 2 - 2. (50x2=100 -2 = recommended long size: 98).
