New York, New York
December 19, 2026
TLV, ZRH, JFK - we're getting around a bit these days, for reasons. More on that later. But what we've noticed: no matter where we are, we look good. Which is less about the content and more about the packaging. So now in NY: we relatively thoughtlessly threw some clothes in a bag and took some photos in the concrete jungle.
It worked, we think. Some might criticize us for not bringing a stylist next time. Well, yes, we could, but: we want realistic, unembellished, and imitable pictures of these clothes. We also don't want to talk about "looks." We don't stand in front of the mirror wondering what to wear today and what colorway matches these stockings. We are not influencers. We get up in the morning and then we get dressed. And we want to recommend this straightforwardness to you too. Wear clothes, not fashion. Anyway: here are a few pictures of what happens when you simply reach into your closet in the morning, and the only guide is the weather report and not a mood board. Pictures from NY, without hair, make-up, and frills. Just a Leica with flash and a man wearing clothes and occasionally smoking (oh oh). Well, anyway: we call it advertising. For our "clothes." A nice German word. Works in Manhattan too. Au revoir!
So we ate tartare and took photos. And you can see the result here now. Good pictures, good sight, good style. Or "Stil"? That too, probably. In the words of Elke Heidenreich: "Well."
