Das Leben ist zu kurz
May 29, 2026
Alright, sunshine lovers, today we have a classic serving suggestion, shop the look, #OOTD – call it what you will. Anyway: We got dressed this morning – surprise – thought that what we haphazardly pulled out of the closet looked pretty good, and then went into the studio and photographed it. So now you can say, "Oh wow, you're right, that all looks great, I'll remember that. I'd love to stroll down Fifth Ave like that." Or the Ku'damm, depending on where you are. Oldenburg's Marktstraße works just as well.
In short: a good look, perfectly doable. So that's what this picture is for. And please cut it out now and stick it in your locker. Or something similar.
But back to the outfit: We're wearing the new Leopold jacket, an unlined linen jacket with just one button and a peak lapel. Quite unusual for such a casual linen piece, but also the desired contrast. Underneath, an OCBD, an Oxford Cloth Button-down shirt, in the very typical blue and white stripe.
Finally, our Jeans No. 7. Wonderfully without stretch, just pure, robust denim. And yes: It's meant to be that short. Love it or leave it.
Then, beautiful brown suede loafers – or rough leather, if you prefer; here too, use the term you like best, we're not so strict about it. The same applies to the tiresome topic of bow tie or necktie. Honestly: Life's too short. There are more important things. Everyone should say and wear what they want.
The loafers, at least, are available in our stores and: We love them, and you obviously do too. Demand is high, and the response is fantastic.
Last point: the knitted long tie, in blue, tip-top. The look is complete. Or as we also say: We're dressed for the occasion.
Boom, bang, bonjour.
