Ich bin ein Kämpfer, kein Liebhaber

"Where love is beautiful, life is beautiful too," Wanda sings in Kairo Downtown, only to fortunately change direction: "Unfortunately, I'm everywhere but there," and then we know again why we like this band so much. Although, if you ask us, one could omit the "unfortunately" – sentimentality is not for us, please move along. Freely adapted from MJ: I'm a Fighter, not a Lover, but let's leave it at that. Sorry for the music intro again and sorry again right after that for that very "sorry", terrible word, terrible phrase – my apologies.

So, Cairo, just to quickly recap: great city, exhausting city, we mentioned it a few weeks ago, but even at the risk of repeating ourselves: go there. Feel free to ask us beforehand exactly where to go, we're happy to give information. Where to stay and, most importantly, where not to. And where to eat, what to see, what to wear.

And with that: welcome to our latest newsletter, it's Friday again, so it's time for another Ramtamtam, I like it, I really like it, Mariacron.
If you know what we mean.

So Cairo, and a clothing suggestion: it has to be light, because it's hot. Very. (You see, we are marketing and timing professionals, because where will it be just as hot today: exactly, at your place). So something light. The Caspian jacket, for example, an absolute dream jacket, it couldn't be lighter. Or more beautiful. Underneath: a linen shirt. Feel free to wear it unironed and wrinkled. In white, in dark blue, in light blue: go wild, everything works, everything looks great. And the best part: you can get it all from us, it's been on the shelves since today.

Alright, to the pants. We wear jeans. Yes, that's right, you're right: there are certainly lighter, more summery legwear options, but well, we only had these photos at hand, what can we say. And, which is also true: we didn't die of heatstroke in them after all, so it works.

With that, the look is perfect, maybe an old Swatch on the wrist - if it doesn't say AP: always better. Okay, you're covered, newsletter: done. We have to go now, the Chinese next door has invited us for plum wine, and you know: we love good drinks and it's already twelve...

So, we need a sign-off, maybe something with music again? Many of you certainly liked it last time, even though we received a lot of pushback that everything we listen to is too rap-heavy. That's only partly true; completely different genres also play in our studio, every direction is welcome, suggestive Roland Kaiser bangers follow feel-good boosters from Radiohead, sometimes we even listen to Lang Lang, fortunately only for a short while.

So, to the closer, as I said, we have an appointment, and it's about time.

Ni hao and Bussi Baby!
